So I have a Ryzen 2600, and every time I try to open Ryzen Master I get the error message in the title. Last year I had a 1400 and used ryzen master almost every day without trouble until I bought this 2600 and never felt the need to use it. I now want to start overclocking my CPU again but I just can’t get ryzen master working.
I have tried to uninstall it completely from the control panel and every time it says ‘successfully uninstalled’ the program is still there and I can run it. But I always get the same error message. My Bios are up to date, drivers are, everything is working but the program. Any ideas on how to fix it?

По оперативе как раз понятно. Что бралось в последние 1,5 года нынче уже стоит почти вдвое дешевле. Обидно ведь продавать «за копейки».

Не думаю, что он будет лучше, чем 2600 в плане цена=производительность. По крайней мере первые несколько месяцев и выгоднее все же будет 2600.

у меня вот встал вопрос: покупать 2600 сейчас, посидет до нового года на нем? Либо же ждать 3600? А ждать, до адекватных цен, придеться до осени точно.

Брать сейчас 2600, а потом заменить на R7 3700/3800X когда цена упадет.

Ждать В550 нужно будет до конца года. И AMD официально не видит проблем в использовании 3000 на B450/X470:
Связка AMD X470 и Ryzen 3000 не будет ущербна с точки зрения производительности.
Прирост быстродействия, обусловленный изменениями на уровне архитектуры процессоров, будет одинаковым как для AMD X570, так и для AMD X470 или B450. Платформы будут отличаться только поддержкой PCI Express 4.0, и если в планы пользователя не входит покупка новейших видеокарт с этим типом интерфейса или твердотельных накопителей, можно спокойно эксплуатировать Ryzen 3000 в материнских платах предыдущего поколения

Имеет смысл брать 3600, если его цена будет как 2600. Так сильного прогресса не вижу.

Разница между 2600 и 3600 есть, производительность не на пару процентов отличается, а цена в 200$ (как они заявляют) вполне нормальная. Может он после выхода еще упадет на баксов 20.
И по поводу того что надо ждать материнок, бред.
Производители уже делают прошивки биоса с поддержкой 3000 серии.
Работать будет как на X370/470, так и на B350/450. Кто-то даже говорил, что на отдельных А320 тоже заработает, только без разгона комплектующих.
А модели которые точно будут поддерживать можно узнать на сайтах производителей или на оверклокерс.
Так что проблемы не вижу собирать с нуля на 3600. Если есть старый пк, на какой нибудь платформе FX, то тут купить только мать, озу и проц. Веник, бп и куллер можно со старого снять.

вы не совсем правы, цена для РБ обычно определяется так:
1) на старте продаж: рекомендованная цена производителя + 30% наценки сверху + логистика из РФ + 4-5% маржи для местных купи/продай интернет-магазинов
2) цена падает ТОЛЬКО после падения в РФ. Наши интернет-ларьки сами почти никогда не снижают цены на складские запасы, только на новые партии (определить новую партию можно сроком доставки от 2 и более дней).
3*) если цена на относительно новое железо ниже, чем у других магазов и доставка в день заказа/на следующий день, то с высокой долей вероятности этот интернет-ларек продает возврат или что-то после очень и очень хорошего ремонта со стороны поставщика

So I was trying to overclock my new Ryzen 5 5600x using Ryzen Master but when I click on the app it says «Overclocking feature is not supported by the PROCESSOR». I updated the BIOS, uninstall and install Ryzen Master but nothing happens. What can I do?
Overclock via BIOS. It’s always a better idea to OC a CPU in BIOS than by software anyway.

your answer does not help at all, People are having issues with RM and want to fix it, not work around.
What motherboard are you using? Do you have the chipset drivers and ryzen power plan installed?
Actually it’s more like when someone asks what the best way is to do something, and you tell them. While Ryzen Master is an excellent monitoring program, it’s never been a good idea to overclock a CPU under OS.
Now, as this is a user to user forum and not visited officially by any software developer of Ryzen Master, the only thing we can suggest is to ensure your computer meets the requirements as stated:
Minimum System Configuration
3rd Gen AMD Ryzen Desktop Processors on an X570 motherboard.
Windows 10 May 2019 Update (or newer)
And if it does, then try a clean installation of Ryzen Master which involves installation via Programs & Features and then manual removal of all Ryzen Master registry keys, and if that doesn’t work, to try on a clean installation of Windows 10 2004 or newer.
Drivers & Software
Ryzen Master 2 (.0.0.1192) doesn’t work.
Error: Ryzen master driver not installed properly.
Had same error with previous version (2.0.0.1189).
Worked once or twice, didn’t work again, uininstalled re-installed, worked briefly, didn’t work again.
Uninstalled re-installed 10+ times including trying windows troubleshooter: doesn’t work.
Funnily enough had similar problems with Asus Aura software recently (software installs but driver (lightingcontrol) not working), only managed to get a very old version to work.
Specs: Ryzen 7 3700X, Prime X470-Pro, 16GB RAM, 1TB nvme, Windows 10 (1903) Pro.

Fix found and working consistently on reboot.
In search type regedit and navigate to:
If you see the following two entries:
right click AMDRyzenMasterDriverV13 and delete it.
This way windows can correctly load the v14 version RM requires to function.
I had ryzen master 2.0.0.1192 installed and working yesterday using my 2700x. I then updated to beta bios for my MSI B450I motherboard and put in my 3700x cpu. Upon start of windows when it tried to launch ryzen master I got something like «CPU not supported» or similar. I then uninstalled and reinstalled Ryzen master and after that I get the «driver not installed properly» on every start of ryzen master, so I cant get it running at all.
I am also encountering this issue. Funny thing is, yesterday it was working fine with the new CPU (3900X). But today that error is all i see, even after a reinstall of Ryzen Master.
I am on the AMD CPU 3900X & Crosshair VII Hero motherboard.
I had this issue too, but in my case it was resolved by installing the latest AMD chipset drivers. For example, if you have a B450 motherboard, here’s the link:
If it still doesn’t work, it might be also necessary to necessary to uninstall then reinstall Ryzen Master.
Same exact issue. was able to get it working once and then that was it. Getting the same error message. Asus Rog X470-i / 3700X. Also had the issue with Aura.. interestingly enough lol was able to get it working by uninstalling every component of Aura and reinstalling, but my motherboard’s rgb still isn’t recognized so that’s still crappy.
As an update to my previous post, the issue sometimes recurs for me, but each time it does, I can fix it by:
• Uninstalling Ryzen Master
• Re-installing Ryzen Master
Having the exact same issue with the Ryzen Master app not installing and uninstalling properly (Driver not installed!). Ryzen 3700X with an MSI x570 A-Pro motherboard. It’s become super annoying and the stock motherboard settings have the CPU voltage at 1.47V.
I’m very worried that running my CPU without Ryzen Master will burn up my brand new Ryzen chip.
Edit: it still seems I get the error for each reboot. So I suppose I have to uninstall ryzen master every time I turn off computer.
After continuing to encounter this issue and after experimenting more about what causes it, it seems that waiting a short time after the desktop appears, perhaps 30 seconds, can help with launching Ryzen Master. But once it gets «damaged», uninstalling + rebooting + re-installing may be necessary.
Ryzen Master seems quite sensitive to any changes made to the BIOS/CMOS setup. Such a change sometimes requires a re-install of the software. In addition, any kind of CPU or system instability, such as a crash while testing overclocking settings, tends to require a re-installation of Ryzen Master.
So I suggest experimenting with different BIOS settings to see if any help stabilize Ryzen Master for you. For example, these might help if you have the option:
• Putting the vcore voltage on Auto so that the CPU can adjust its own voltage dynamically.
• Enabling AMD Cool & Quiet
• Setting Global C-States to Enabled
• Temporarily turning off Overdrive and any other aggressive or overclocking settings in case they’re causing the issue.
Drivers & Software
I tried installing Ryzen Master but I keep getting this same error that you can see is attached as an image. I tried reregistering my MS Installer but this does not work. As I can see the problem is coming from the Task Scheduler. I thought of disabling it, but it requires registry editing and I am not 100% sure it will work. Do you have any advices on what I can try? Thank you in previous!
Run this program from Microsoft to fix problems with installation and uninstalling of software. I have attached it to this post for you to use.
Run the Troubleshooter from Microsoft and try to install Ryzen Master again. See what the troubleshooter suggests.
Post back if it works or not.
Also you may want to run SFC /scannow in ADMIN RIGHTS Powershell or Command Prompt to make sure your Windows is not corrupted or missing files.

I ran the utility. It found Ryzen SDK and suggested to unistall it. I did it. Also did the SFC. It only installs the Ryzen SDK, but still fails to install the Ryzen Master.

You do have a Ryzen CPU/APU installed correct? This software is ONLY for Ryzen CPU/APUs.

I can feel your pain man! I have the exact same issue and I’ve tried literally everything possible. Searched Reddit, Google, AMD Community forum, etc for endless hours, still haven’t found anything that work. except the old v1.4.0 of Ryzen Master found on Guru3D which works just fine, the problems is only with the v1.5.2 installer.
