‘Smart Reminder’ is YOUR departure time reminder.
In order to calculate location, distance and departure time, an internet connection is mandatory. The flight mode should be turned off.
Additionally some permissions must be granted so that the app works as expected.
Permission ‘Location’:
To calculate the time of departure, the current location must be submitted to the used services at defined intervals. In order to calculate the data for different locations, the advanced permission ‘Location Always Usage’ (Background Task ‘Location updates’) must be granted.
ATTENTION: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
Therefore, algorithms are used to prevent a high battery consumption.
Permission ‘Local Notifications’:
In order to receive local notifications when the app is not active, the permission ‘send notifications’ is mandatory.
Permission ‘Calendar’:
This permission is necessary to add your meetings into your calendar.

Why do I suppose to reopen and turn on the app every day?
Is there any way to get notifications everyday without interruption?

Thank you for your feedback. No there is no way to enable notifications to another days. You can only enable notifications that day. We will add it in the next updates. 👍
