На этой неделе в Лас-Вегасе открылась выставка SEMA, на которую каждый год съезжаются инженеры и энтузиасты автомобильного тюнинга со всего света — от небольших мастерских до автопроизводителей мирового уровня. Изначально SEMA — это Specialty Equipment Market Association, то есть американская ассоциация производителей и продавцов автомобильных запчастей и аксессуаров, которая и провела первую выставку в 1967 году.
Большинство «фирменных» автомобилей на тюнинг-шоу подготовлены по довольно простому рецепту, который почти не затрагивает технику. Как правило, эти машины отличаются от серийных только внешним обвесом, перешитым салоном и набором аксессуаров, максимум — доработанной подвеской и небольшим повышением мощности стандартного мотора. Но есть и куда более серьезные экспонаты, о которых мы и расскажем.
Техасская компания Hennessey, известная экстремальным тюнингом пони-каров и пикапов, представила модель Resurrection, то есть «Воскрешение». Это продолжение проекта Exorcist двухлетней давности на основе серийного купе Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. Компрессорный мотор V8 глубоко модернизирован и теперь выдает 1216 л.с.! Разгон до 60 миль в час (97 км/ч) занимает всего 2,3 секунды, четверть мили Resurrection проходит за 9,3 секунды, набирая в конце 241 км/ч, а максимальная скорость — 354 км/ч. На выбор — шестиступенчатая «механика» или десятиступенчатый «автомат». По задумке техасцев, Exorcist и Resurrection борются с демонами, что намекает на снятый с производства Dodge Challenger SRT Demon.
Однако в компании Dodge тоже не сидели сложа руки и анонсировали выпуск партии из 50 гоночных купе Dodge Challenger Drag Pak, созданных совместно с инженерами дочерней фирмы Mopar специально для дрэг-рейсинга. Разумеется, не остался без внимания и третий muscle car американской «большой тройки». Ford при поддержке специалистов из компании Webasto подготовил электрический прототип Mustang Lithium. Казалось бы, ничего интересного: батарейными версиями «обычных» машин сегодня уже едва ли удивишь. Однако электрическая силовая установка этого Мустанга выдает аж 912 л.с. и 1356 Нм, а работает она в тандеме с шестиступенчатой механической коробкой передач! Проект в первую очередь предназначен для тех, кто скучает по «механике» в электромобилях, — технически этому Мустангу она не нужна, но управлять таким автомобилем на гоночном треке будет интереснее.
Фирма SpeedKore, в прошлом году посетившая выставку SEMA с углепластиковым купе на основе модели Dodge Charger 1970 года, на этот раз удивила еще одним Чарджером, но уже современным. Это седан Dodge Charger, доработанный при помощи компаний MagnaFlow и HP Tuners. У него углепластиковые кузовные панели, по форме идентичные заводской модификации Widebody, полноприводная трансмиссия фирмы Hellraiser Performance и невероятный V8 6.2 с двумя турбокомпрессорами, развивающий 1545 «лошадей»! Однако специалисты компании SpeedKore заявили, что продолжат работу над автомобилем после выставки, то есть отдача двигателя в перспективе может увеличиться.
Пикапы на выставке, разумеется, тоже не обошли стороной. Chevrolet E-10 Concept представляет собой электрическую версию классического грузовичка Chevrolet C-10 1962 года. Старый V8 уступил место двум электромоторам суммарной мощностью более 450 л.с. Электрическая начинка спроектирована с использованием компонентов серийного хэтчбека Chevrolet Bolt, а тяговая батарея расположена в кузове. Также пикап имеет заниженную подвеску, светодиодную оптику и новые колеса — 20-дюймовые спереди и 22-дюймовые на задней оси. На разгон до 97 км/ч у электропикапа уходит около пяти секунд.
Компания Shelby American также представила свое видение «заряженного» пикапа, но в более традиционном виде. Если помните, Ford F-150 Raptor первого поколения имел атмосферный V8 объемом 6,2 л, который выдавал 416 л.с. и 588 Нм. Нынешний Raptor оснащен турбомотором V6 EcoBoost объемом всего 3,5 л (457 л.с. и 692 Нм), который поклонников не обрадовал. Компания Hennessey уже предложила свой вариант новой модели с классическим двигателем V8, а теперь аналогичную версию показала фирма Shelby American. Двигатель пикапа Super Snake Sport F-150 выдает 765 «лошадей». В нагрузку — особый обвес на кузове, 22-дюймовые легкосплавные колеса и громкая выпускная система Borla.
А вторая новинка компании Shelby American на выставке — это купе Ford Shelby GT500 Dragon Snake, которое пока что носит статус концепт-кара, хотя в скором времени его можно будет заказать. Это доработанный вариант серийной модели Mustang Shelby GT500. Мотор V8 объемом 5,2 л с компрессором развивает более 800 л.с., которые передаются на колеса при помощи семиступенчатой роботизированной коробки передач с двумя сцеплениями. Капот и спойлер сделаны из углепластика. Точных динамических характеристик компания пока не приводит, но разгон до 100 км/ч займет не более трех секунд.
Такой же мотор (хоть и чуть менее мощный) оказался под капотом у другой модели: на выставку привезли классический Ford Bronco 1968 года, который пять лет назад подарили телеведущему и автоэнтузиасту Джею Лено. Внедорожник достался ему в плачевном состоянии, однако впоследствии Bronco прошел полную реставрацию в подразделении Ford Performance. Автомобиль обзавелся новой подвеской, компрессорным мотором V8 5.2, новыми тормозами и усиленной полноприводной трансмиссией. Тем не менее внешне легендарный автомобиль практически не изменился.
Однако не Америкой единой жива SEMA! На выставку приехали и компании из других стран. Одна из ярких премьер — пикап Nissan Frontier Desert Runner, созданный в содружестве с фирмой MA Motorsports. У него двигатель V8 5.6 от «старшего» пикапа Nissan Titan, но турбокомпрессор Garrett, интеркулер, новые распределительные валы, а также доработанные поршни и клапаны позволили увеличить отдачу с 406 л.с. и 560 Нм до впечатляющих 607 л.с. и 949 Нм! Модифицированный мотор работает в паре с шестиступенчатой «механикой», привод — на заднюю ось. Шасси подготовлено для езды по бездорожью, колеса обуты в 37-дюймовые шины BFGoodrich Baja T/A, а в салон установлены гоночные сиденья.
Купе Toyota GR Supra 3000GT Concept было анонсировано еще в октябре. По задумке, новая версия сделана по мотивам тюнинг-набора TRD 3000GT для Супры прошлого поколения. Но оказалось, что ностальгический концепт-кар представляет собой, по сути, серийную машину, которая отличается «злым» обвесом в стиле старой модели и небольшими доработками в шасси. Двигатель и коробка передач стандартные — это рядная «шестерка» BMW B58 (340 л.с., 500 Нм) и восьмиступенчатый «автомат».

Компания Lexus показала два обновленных седана IS 500 F Sport и IS 350 F Sport.
Lexus
Обвес IS 500 F Sport выполнен с помощью 3D-печати и покрыт винилом. Автомобиль оснащен 5,0-литровым двигателем в 421 л.с. в паре с восьмиступенчатой коробкой передач (спортивной), а также модифицированной выхлопной системой.
Обвес для IS 350 F Sport создала компания Artisan Spirits. Его 3,5-литровый мотор дает 318 л.с. В автомобиле много карбоновых деталей и предусмотрена ручная регулировка клиренса. По некоторым данным, оба седана появятся в продаже уже в будущем году.
Компания Chevrolet превратила свою самую знаменитую модель Chevy Project X 1957 года в электрокар. Для этого автогигант объединился с Cagnazzi Racing и MotorTrend. Электродвигатель на 400 В и 30 кВтч выдает 340 л.с.

Public relations and marketing personnel representing manufacturers do not qualify for media credentials, nor do video production companies representing exhibitors or those that solicit and charge companies to be covered. Approved individuals who abuse their media privileges or who misrepresent themselves or aid others in obtaining their media passes risk having their credentials revoked, and their names banned from attending the SEMA Show in future years.
Keep in mind that as the SEMA Show approaches the approval process may be delayed, so we encourage media to apply for their credentials as soon as registration opens around May each year.

NAVIGATING THE SHOW
Show floor access:
At the SEMA Show, credentialed media have access to the Show floor during show hours and a half-hour early on all four days of the SEMA Show (Tuesday, Nov. 1-Friday, Nov. 4). Exhibiting media receive «Exhibiting Media» badges, providing them with access to the Show floor during exhibitor move-in and move-out hours as well.
Press Conference and Media Events
The official press conference schedule features breaking news and announcements during the Show. The schedule is set up to make it easy for media to navigate from one press conference to the next.
New Product Photography
Throughout the Show, media visiting the New Products Showcase can receive detailed information and photos for products selected. Simply utilize the «Product Scanner» feature in the SEMA Show mobile app to select the products desired, and create a custom list with company name, product description and photos. What are the Show hours?
How do I reserve a meeting space?
You must be a SEMA Show exhibitor to reserve a meeting room at either the Las Vegas Convention Center or any Las Vegas hotel. Exhibitors can reserve a meeting room by completing the Meeting Space Reservation Form in the online Exhibitor Manual available Spring of 2022.
Can I have a meeting in my booth before or after Show Hours?
If you are an exhibitor you may host a meeting or event in your booth either two hours prior to the Show opening or two hours after Show close, with Show Management approval. Please complete the Booth/Outside Events Form in the online Exhibitor Manual available Spring of 2022.
What is «suitcasing» and what do I do if I witness it?
«Suitcasing» is when any non-exhibitor tries to sell their products or services to attendees or other exhibitors at the Show. What is «outboarding» and what do I do if I witness it?
«Outboarding» is when any non-exhibitor hosts an event anywhere in the city that attracts SEMA Show buyers. If you hear of an outboarding event, please contact the Show Management Office, 702.943.3505 or your floor manager. To contact Show Management in advance of the Show, please call 909.396.0289.
What is the photography policy?
Exhibitors are not permitted to photograph or video the exhibit or product of another exhibitor without prior approval. Exhibitors are prohibited from entering the exhibit space of another exhibitor without permission from that exhibitor, and at no time may anyone enter an exhibit space that is not staffed. Review all information on the Intellectual Property Rights Form for further information.
What is appropriate attire when attending the SEMA Show?
The SEMA Show is a business to business trade show. Attendees, exhibitors and media must wear appropriate apparel at all times. Business or business casual attire is suggested. Logos and sayings on apparel must be in good taste. Show Management reserves the right to make determinations on appropriate apparel.

How do I change my company’s designated key contact?
If you need to change your company’s designated key contact, we must receive the request in writing. Please email the new key contact’s name and email address to MargaretR@sema.org.
May I bring my child to the show?
No one under the age of 16, including infants, is allowed access to the exhibits. No exceptions. Show management does not provide childcare services onsite. Use of a school issued ID is not acceptable to prove age unless it provides a date of birth.
How can I order tickets to the Special Events and educational sessions?
Tickets for the special events and educational sessions are available in the Spring when registering for the Show opens. When registering you will be able to order special event tickets, simply follow the instructions and shortcut link when your registration confirmation e-mail.
Can I bring a guest?
No. There are no guest or complimentary passes, tickets, and/or badges for the SEMA Show. Other than a legal spouse, everyone must register and be approved to receive a badge. The SEMA Show is a trade-only industry event. It is not open to consumers or the general public. Guests do not qualify to receive a badge.
When do I have to wear my badge?
Badges must always be worn in the AAPEX and the SEMA Show areas.
Can I give my badge to a friend?
No. Badges CANNOT be reproduced, transferred or resold. All AAPEX and SEMA Show attendees and exhibiting personnel must be prepared to provide a matching government-issued photo ID upon request. Show management reserves the right to refuse admission and revoke your badge at any time. If it is discovered you are allowing someone else to use your badge, that person will be escorted from the show floor and both of you may not be allowed to attend a future show.
Are Drones/Unmanned Aerial Vehicles allowed at the SEMA Show?
Drones/UAVs of any kind are NOT allowed at the SEMA Show or at the Las Vegas Convention Center due to the proximity to McCarran International Airport. Drones/UAVs will be confiscated until show end (after the SEMA Cruise).
Are hoverboards, Segway’s, skateboards, skates or scooters (either motorized or foot-powered) allowed at the SEMA Show?
The use of the above items are NOT allowed on the Las Vegas Convention Center property. This includes all non-ADA-approved mobility devices.
What is the weapon policy at the SEMA Show?
Fireworks, firearms, explosives, and weapons of all kinds are prohibited in all premises of the AAPEX and the SEMA Shows. This prohibition applies to interior and exterior Show facilities, including parking areas and also prohibits weapons in or on any vehicles or displays. Violations of this policy can result in the violator being banned from the Shows and Show facilities.
What happens when my badge is scanned at the Show?
When Show Management* scans your badge, your personal information is processed pursuant to Show Management’s legitimate interest in tracking attendance, traffic flow, and providing a better Show for attendees. To withdraw consent, contact Show Management (see below). By allowing exhibitors to scan your badge, you consent to Show Management sharing your registration information with them and they may then contact you regarding their goods or services. Please review their privacy policies for additional information. If you do not want to share your information, do not permit the exhibitor to scan your badge. If you do not want to receive communications from an exhibitor, you must contact that exhibitor directly.

How do I register for the SEMA Show?
The SEMA Show is a trade-only industry event. Only qualified individuals employed within the automotive aftermarket industry are approved to receive a badge. Qualified individuals may register online at www.semashow.com or onsite at the Las Vegas Convention Center at Main Registration, located in Lower South Hall EAST. We strongly encourage you to pre-register online to save time and money and receive your badge in the mail (if completed before the domestic pre-reg deadline of October 7 (date subject to change), and the international pre-reg deadline of September 16 (date subject to change).

How do I add a spouse?
After you register, the system will ask you if you wish to register another attendee, or a spouse. You can register your legal spouse at that time. If you have completed your registration and want to add a spouse at a later date, use the link in your confirmation to return to the dashboard and click on «Add a Spouse.»
I need a visa to enter the U.S. How can I get a letter of invitation?
You must register before the visa letter can be sent, and the letter may only be made for the individual’s name and company name in his or her registration record. Invite letters are sent via email instantaneously as a bounce back to the email address you provide during registration. Emailed, printed-out copies of the visa letter are acceptable. Show Management no longer prepares and express-mails abroad personalized letters because originals of visa invite letters are no longer required. The bounce-back, emailed invitation letter is sufficient. It is the sole responsibility of the attendee to take care of any government visa requirements and allow sufficient time for the visa entry application process. Attendees and exhibitors should contact their nearest embassy or consulate to determine the appropriate timing and requirements related to their visa application. SEMA will not contact embassies and consulates on behalf of visa applicants or provide any other assistance relating to visa issues. Any and all costs associated with applying for a visa are the sole responsibility of the attendee or exhibitor in need of the letter.
